Heart of the City

Chicago is a great place to visit. However, as much as I enjoyed the culture, architecture, history, etc... I'm not sure I could ever live in the heart of a major metropolitan area.  

Here are three things I learned during my week in the Windy City:

1. It seems like the majority of people wear earbuds and keep to themselves while in public.  There is not much socializing amongst strangers.  

2. Standing underneath the L-Train tracks, while a train passes, is very loud.  It's similar to the sound of a roller-coaster; multiplied by ten.

3. Everything is fast paced, loud, crowded and more expensive.
