Swing Batter, Swing!

Earlier this month Kent State and Bowling Green played a nine inning baseball game that finished with one of the most unorthodox scores you will ever see associated with America's pastime.

The final tally between the two teams was 31-20 with Kent State claiming the victory.

Initially, when I heard this score I immediately thought of football.

That got me thinking...

These two teams play in the same conference so they must have matched up on the gridiron in 2011.

They did, and the final score from that game was 27-15 with Kent State winning.

Ironically, in a very upside down turn of events, both baseball teams outscored their respective football teams.

Below is a snapshot of the box-score.
